Frequently asked questions

What is GitObs?
GitObs is a Git analytics tool for engineering teams. It syncs repository history from GitHub and shows commit activity, code ownership and how long pull requests stay open.
Can I still sign up for GitObs?
No. GitObs no longer opens new accounts. The team behind it now builds AgentsTrack, and new sign-ups happen at agentstrack.ai.
What is AgentsTrack?
AgentsTrack tracks what coding agents such as Claude Code, Codex and opencode cost, how the work was done and which commits and pull requests came out of it.
Which Git platforms does GitObs support?
GitHub. Repositories are connected through your GitHub organization.
Does GitObs store my source code?
No. A worker clones repositories temporarily to count line changes, then deletes the clone. GitObs stores commit details such as hashes, authors, messages and per-file line counts, not file contents. The security page lists exactly what is kept.
I have an existing GitObs account. What should I do?
Email hello@gitobs.com from the address on your account with any questions about your data, access or invoices.
